My goofy-look Crocs

I may never take these off. I adore these shoes despite their “goofy” look. I now think they are quirky and super cool – which might be influenced by the fact that some celebrities like All Pacino, Jennifer Gardner, Hetaher Locklear, Mario Batali, and Gabriel have been spotted wearing them. Is it geek chic? Is it love at first sight? I did not en up with other shoe because I wanted something less “weird’ and more “feminine”. But later I changed my mind. These shoes are like the frog that gets kissed and turns into a prince because once you put them on they really are like “walking on marshmallows”. Crocs have their own cult following and this is their legend.

Crocs were designed to be the perfect boat shoes: Fashionable, fun, waterproof and super comfortable. Since the company’s inception in June 2002, everyone from doctors, chefs, outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, celebrities, families and of course – boaters are wearing them. This unique footwear is made of Croslite, a non-slip material, resists compression, easy to clean, anti-microbial, molds to the feet, and floats! The shoes are designed with built-in arch support, circulation nubs, and an orthotic heel cup to support and protect the heel. These are the only shoes certified by United States Ergonomics. Croc’s pitch is that these are comfortable and beneficial for those standing for long periods of time as they reduce muscle fatigue in the feet and legs. Other perks include wearing them if you forgot to have a pedicure, well ventilated, and they have an adjustable strap that lets them become sling-backs or slip-ons.

So slip on your ever friendly Croc and tread anything that blocks your way!
